Rocky was taken in from a shelter at full capacity, where he risked missing out on the chance of a home. He's a loyal, intelligent, and energetic German Shepherd with solid basic training — he knows "stay", "come", and "heel" and picks up new things quickly. He's protective of those close to him but well-balanced, with no signs of aggression, and gets along well with other dogs of similar size. He has been neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He needs consistent physical and mental exercise — long walks, fetch, possibly agility training — to burn off his energy in a healthy way. We recommend adopting him to a family with prior experience with large, dominant-tempered breeds who can continue his training and socialization consistently.
