Tooth extraction
Removal of teeth irreversibly damaged by periodontal disease, under general anaesthesia with full monitoring.
When extraction is needed
- Loose teeth or advanced resorption that can no longer be saved
- Dental fractures with exposed pulp
- Recurrent dental abscesses
Procedure and recovery
Extractions are performed under general anaesthesia, with a dental X-ray to confirm the diagnosis and, when needed, dissolvable sutures. We recommend soft food for 5–7 days and avoiding hard chew toys while healing.
