Imaging
X-ray
Fast imaging for fractures, foreign bodies, lung conditions and orthopaedic assessment.
When it's recommended
- Suspected fracture or dislocation after trauma
- Persistent limping or pain on movement
- Ongoing cough or breathing difficulty
- Suspected ingestion of a foreign object
How the exam works
Most X-rays are taken without sedation, in about 20 minutes. For difficult positioning or anxious pets, we use light sedation to get clear images with minimal stress.
