Cat vaccination
Cat vaccination per WSAVA protocol — panleukopenia, calicivirus, rhinotracheitis and feline leukaemia.
Vaccination calendar
- 8–9 weeks — FVRCP (panleukopenia, calicivirus, rhinotracheitis)
- 12 weeks — FVRCP booster + feline leukaemia (for cats with outdoor access)
- 16 weeks — FVRCP booster + rabies (if the cat goes outside or travels)
- Annually — booster based on lifestyle and exposure risk
Before vaccination
The cat should be clinically healthy and dewormed 7–10 days beforehand. We recommend FeLV/FIV testing for kittens adopted from the street.
